First Guests

With almost 2 months under our belt in our new country, we welcomed the arrival of our first guests: Billy Walker and Adam Steenbock. As they will testify, we kept them busy, with the goal of providing a vacation to remember. From the moment the plane touched down, we kept them going until their plane left. One of the main reasons for this was because of their limited time here.

When we picked up Billy from the airport, we took him home to unload and change for basketball followed by a dinner with several visiting sisters from New York.

Directly after Adam was picked up, we took him from the airport to zip-lining... which ended up being a wet experience. I was also able to start a bible study with one of their tour guides. More on than in a future blog post.

Field Service, meetings, massages, water rafting and trips to the Caribbean and Pacific also filled our schedule.

After the party, a new "show" was born: Bryan & Adam In the Morning! This was a spoof on a skit inside of Community. We recorded our first episode at 1am after the party. So much fun!

Those are just a few of the many things we did with our first guests. We look forward to having many more guests in the near future. In the meantime, our third guest just arrived and comes to us all the way from Japan. She will be staying here for one year. Please welcome: Sachie Kusaka...
