Costa Rica Information

Here is some useful information if you’re planning to visit Costa Rica.

Airports

San Jose (SJO) and Liberia (LIR); Most will fly to San Jose. Liberia is typically only used if just staying on the Pacific side in Guanacaste, like at a Resort.

Weather

There are two season in Costa Rica: drier and wetter. It rains frequently, though typically just in the afternoon. Where we live the Dry season is December-April with the Wet Season being May-November. Further weather information can be found here.

Rental Car

Wild Rider - We have used them twice and had extremely pleasant experiences.
